In this tutorial we will see how to create a website content box.
1) Let’s get started. Start with a new file.
2) Make sure your Foreground color is set to E4E4E4
3) Grab the rounded rectangle tool. Make sure that Radius is set to 11 pixels
and draw the shape on the canvas as shown in the following figure.
4) Right click on the Shape layer and rasterize it.
5) Now apply following layer styles on this shape.
After Drop Shadow Effect
After Gradient Effect
After Stroke Effect
6) Now your canvas will look like above figure.
7) Now make a copy of this layer by dragging this layer to NEW Layer Button in the layer’s palette and change this layers gradient overlay to following settings.
8) Now your canvas will look like following figure.
9) Now apply following Bevel Fx settings to this layer.
10) After applying Bevel effect your canvas will look like following figure.
11) Now grab the Eraser tool. Make sure the eraser brush diameter is set to 16.
12) With the eraser tool selected click on the four corners of the Rounded Rectangle shape to make four bevelic dots as shown in the following figure.
13) WOW. Looks nice. We have set up our content box here.
14) Now feel free to add your contents in this box. I have added contents like following figure.
15) Again, feel free to play with different settings and don’t restrict your Creativity.
