Step 1. Create a new document

In the first step you need to make a new document with a appropriate size. Here we like to take it as 300px × 300px.

Step 2. Type the charatcter into the picture

Now you should start off by selecting your text, preferably a thick one as seen below.

Step 3. Duplicate the layer

Now you have a text layer. What you should do is that you need to make a copy of the text layer for the later playing.

Now you'd better add some effects to the bottom layer.

Step 4. Set the paramenters of Drop Shadow

The Blend Mode should be Multiply. And the Opacity should be set to 50% here.

Step 5. Set the paramenters of Inner Shadow

In the Inner Shadow pannel you need to set the Opacity to 100%. And the Blend Mode should be Normal.

Step 6. Set the paramenters of Outer Glow

Here Blend Mode should be Screen and the Opacity should be set to 100%.

Step 7. Set the paramenters of Bevel and Emboss

We choose Inner Bevel to be the Style value. And the Depth should be 50%. Note that the Shadow Mode is Color Burn and the code of color is a32429.

Step 8. Set the paramenters of Contour and Color Overlay
