Panoramas are a great way to capture a landscape, cityscape, or an event and
creating a Panoramic in Photoshop is one of the easier tasks in Photoshop.
The process is basically the stitching of several photos together.
When shooting a panoramic, you will get better results with the use of a tripod.
Step 1: Open the photos to be used for your panoramic.
I have 5 photos of I am going to use for the panoramic.
I am using the Adobe Bridge to open my files. Try it. (file—>browse in Bridge)
Step 2: Now on your menu, go to File–>Automate–>Photomerge.
Now click on the Add open files button to select the photos to photomerge.
On the left side of the Photomerge dialog box are 6 options to choose how Photoshop merges your photos. We will go with the easiest option which is Auto.
Click OK to start the photomerge.
Step 3. Crop out the unwanted portions of you panorama.
Photoshop uses layer masks to blend each layer to create the panoramic.
you will notice the edges of my photo do not match up so I will need to use the crop tool to finish.
THE END.
