Duplicate a layer — Layers> Duplicate layers (Ctrl+J)
Transform a photo in black-and-white colours — Image> Adjustments> Desaturate (Shift+Ctrl+U)
Dublicate black-and-white layer (Ctrl+J)

Duplicated layer we Invert the image (Ctrl+I)
Put mixing Mode - Color Dodge
